Eric Blaylock helps CEOs, boards, and CHROs redesign how work gets done in the age of AI. A seasoned transformation executive, independent board member, and educator, he brings more than two decades of experience at the intersection of strategy, human capital, and technology — and a rare, firsthand vantage point on how AI actually performs in real business work.
Eric is the Founder and Managing Partner of Strategic Human Capital Partners LLC, a boutique advisory firm delivering human capital strategy, AI-enabled workforce solutions, and technology outcomes for commercial and government clients. His work centers on the disciplined, responsible adoption of AI: helping leaders separate capability from hype, redesign work and workforce models around what AI can reliably do, and build the governance and change leadership that make adoption stick.
That perspective is grounded in direct experience at the frontier of enterprise AI, where Eric has helped design realistic simulations used to train and evaluate advanced AI agents on complex, real-world consulting work. He has deepened this expertise through 2025 graduate study in agentic AI (Vanderbilt University), the ethics of artificial intelligence (Politecnico di Milano), and artificial general intelligence in national security (Special Competitive Studies Project).
Before founding SHCP, Eric served as Digital Enterprise Transformation Lead Business Consultant for North America at Tata Consultancy Services, and delivered human capital technology solutions to some of the world’s largest financial services organizations as a senior HCM Technology Solution Executive at Microsoft. He has held senior consulting roles at Accenture, IBM, and Booz Allen Hamilton, and served as a Board Director and Governance Committee Chair at Greater Greater Washington.
A proud U.S. Air Force veteran (TACP, 25th Air Support Operations Squadron), Eric earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee, a graduate certificate from Johns Hopkins University, and an executive certificate in corporate governance from The Wharton School. He lives in Washington, DC.
